- We started skipping in gym, with a lot of rope competitions.
- In social, we packed suitcases to travel to Peru/ the Alberta Grasslands.
- We got a new word in word work. The big word was elections.
- In science, we learned the difference between minerals and rocks. A mineral is made in nature. Fun fact: Snow and ice cubes (water) are minerals.
- The grade 3's continued their SLA's, writing about the school they would create.
- In math, we did a problem of the day and solved equations with missing numbers.
What questions do we have after today?
- I wonder if room 4 will bring in minerals?
- I wonder how we are going to make geodes and crystals?
- When are we going to read The One and Only Ivan book again?
- What are second and third on the MOHS hardness scale?
- I wonder who is going to win tonight's election?
