- Today in gym we started lacrosse. First we played a warm up game of blob tag, then we did relays with the lacrosse sticks. After that we learned how to cradle the ball and played What Time Is It Mr. Wolf with the lacrosse sticks. If you dropped the ball, you became part of the wolf pack.
- We had our last book Cafe today and we had cookies with pink lemonade. Yum!
- In LA we sang the song Fireworks while looking for examples of figurative language. We also read some more Library Olympics. The fifth competition had them guessing books from clues and the sixth one had them identifying book titles using clues from a parade of actors.
- In social, we were introduced to our new centers for the Ukraine. We will be learning about beliefs, city life versus country life, egg art and a government timeline. The Alberta group continued to work on our presentations on the regions.
- Today in math we kept working on our zoos. We are now working on our final drafts on cardstock paper.
- During science we continued our research on our animals.

- Will there be any butterflies tomorrow? There are now three!
