Thoughts of the day- June 15

What did we do today?

  • In health, the grade 4s had another puberty lesson and the grade 3s finished their time charts and calculated their sleep.  Many of us are not getting enough sleep.
  • Instead of having gym in the morning, we had it in the afternoon and because of the wind we played capture the flag instead of frisbee.
  • Since the grade 6s were writing their PATs, today in math we got a double period to work on our zoos and keep the school quiet.
  • Today in social, we were introduced to the government center and many of us are on our third centers.  In the Alberta group, we finished our definition word search and we learned about Father Lacombe.
  • After recess, we continued our animal presentations.
What questions do we have after today?
  1. How many more people will finish their PowerPoint presentations tomorrow?
  2. How much more will the Alberta group learn about Father Lacombe?
  3. What will be the zoo with the most buildings?
  4. How did the grade 6s do today?
  5. Will we have to write the PATs when we are in grade 6?
