Thoughts of the day- June 22

What did we do today?

  • In math, we finished our measurement scavenger hunt and our book analysis.  Tomorrow we start the Measurement Olympic Games!
  • So that we will be prepared for the assembly Friday, we practiced our song with the grade 1/2s and the MCs.
  • Today five people presented their animal presentations to the class.  They were about gorillas (two presentations), mandrils, flamingos, and the grey wolf.
  • In social, the Alberta group had a test.  The Ukrainian group worked on finishing their centers.
  • This morning in LA, we started our top ten lists about being in the portable based on the ideas we brainstormed yesterday.
  • We played another game of kickball with room 4 and we divided the classes to make it more fair.
What questions do we have after today?
  1. Which team will win the Measurement Olympics?
  2. Who will present tomorrow and what animals will they be?
  3. Whose project will have the most information?
  4. What teams will win in Rio?
  5. How many questions will a certain student keep forgetting?
  6. What Olympic game will be liked most?
