- We had a Calgary Public Library presentation today and we learned about the summer reading program. We also got cool monster origami bookmarks. The lady from the library read us a poem from one of the books she brought and she showed us a variety of books we can find there. This summer there is a reading contest where we colour in bird ballots and there is a question contest as well. With the question contest, we could win a $250 ToysRUs gift card and be the boss of the library for one day!
- Today in gym, we played against room 4 in a game of kickball. We won (and had lots of fun!)
- In health, the grade 3s did a mirror activity that focused on positive self-image and the grade 4s finished their puberty lessons.
- This afternoon in social we continued our centers. If we finished, we did a survey and crossword about Ukrainian food.
- In math, we continued our measurement scavenger hunt and we analyzed the weight of books.
- During music, we played a game of bingo with instruments and we practiced our song that we will sing on Friday.
What questions do we have after today?
- What person guessed the most instruments right?
- Will anybody in our class win the CPL contest? What books would they buy?
- Who will win the most measurement Olympic games?
- What Olympic game will most of us like?
