Thoughts of the day- June 2

What did we do today?

• We started the day with the school rooftop photo.
• After we had the rooftop photo we had our math quiz.
• This afternoon, we started our social centers for the Ukraine.  We had the choice of egg art or comparing life in the city compared to the village.
• In science, we observed the butterflies.  Eight are now out of chrysalis and one was walking around the mesh enclosure and one was trying to fly.
• In LA we read some more of the Library Olympics and there were two more competitions.  We found out Marjory is going to take the book from the library.  We also finished the Fireworks song and we sang it after we were done looking for figurative language.
• Today in music we continued to watch the movie Beethoven Lives Upstairs.  We also had to answer comprehension questions about the movie.
• In gym we started passing and catching in lacrosse.  Most of us can pass two in a row.
